Here are some common questions about Vettdeck.
Is sponsorship or a partnership guaranteed?
Unfortunately, sponsorship and partnerships cannot be guaranteed. We will always go above and beyond to connect you with the brands that you would like to work with and to secure deals on your behalf.
What is in-kind sponsorship?
In-kind sponsorship is when the sponsor agrees to provide goods or service instead of cash as part of the agreement.
Should I be asking for money or In-kind sponsorship?
Depending on your event and experience level you can ask for both. We will determine the best strategy for you in our call.
How long will it take to get sponsors?
Securing deals is an ongoing process. It can take 3 months to more than a year to secure a monetary deal. In-kind sponsorship can happen a lot quicker 1-3 months.
My dashboard says my proposal was accepted by a sponsor but we have not heard from them. What should I do now?
Your dashboard is automatically updated regularly, make sure you check in regularly to see the updates of your project.
Is there an additional charge for monetary sponsorship?
There is an additional 5-15% commission charged on all transactions, in-kind or monetary.
How many sponsors will I need?
The amount of sponsors is completely up to you. Keep in mind that for paying sponsors you will need to give them category exclusivity. A well-sponsored event can have between 4-7 sponsors.
What is the average amount you are able to secure in sponsorship?
There isn’t an average amount of sponsorship since circumstances for each event can be so different. The amount an event is worth can be determined by many factors. by the number of attendees, years of an event, offerings, location, host etc.
Am I able to choose/approve the companies you pitch my proposal to?
Yes, final approval will be determined by you. We will make suggestions of brands that would be a great fit for you.
Will I receive a refund if my project doesn’t get sponsored?
Our team works very hard to have all of our clients sponsored. You will not receive a refund if sponsorship is not secured.
FAQ’s For Sponsors
Here are some common questions about Vettdeck.
How much time will we have to accept/decline a proposal?
You will have 7 days to move the proposal from received to under review. We understand that sponsorship can take time. We ask that a decision is made at least 60 days prior to the event date.
How many proposals will I receive?
We will ask that you either forward all decks to us for review, or use an email address that we provide to receive decks. We will go through each with a fine tooth comb and only send over the ones that match what you are looking for.
Can I limit the number of proposals I receive?
Yes.
Is there a certain amount of time we have to pay?
We ask that all secured sponsorship payments are made 14-30 days prior to the event. If the payment needs to be divided we can work on an arrangement.
We accepted a proposal but have not heard from the organizer. What happens now?
You can search our database, we have so many events to choose from!
